FreeCell is a solitaire card game played with all 52 cards face up across eight cascades, four free cells, and four foundations.
How to play
- You can move every card that is not in the foundation pile.
- Build cascades downward by alternating colors.
- Move cards to foundations upward by suit, from Ace to King.
- Use free cells to temporarily hold one card each.
- Use empty cascades as open spaces for movable cards or valid sequences.
- Unlike many solitaire games, moving a stack requires that the cards can be moved one-by-one legally.
- Win by moving every card to the foundation piles.
Tips
- Keep free cells open when you can. Empty cells let you move larger stacks.
- Legacy Microsoft FreeCell deal numbers are supported through the game code format freecell_classic_<number>.
